Port Of Albany – Port Expansion

The Albany Port District Commission (“APDC”) is expanding facilities to construct an offshore wind tower manufacturing operation with approximately 100 acres at the Port. The project will include construction of approximately 626,014 square feet of manufacturing facilities among five (5) pre-engineered metal buildings, a new heavy duty bridge span connecting sites, heavy duty wharf and all site infrastructure and civil work. The project is a public-private partnership that will result in the first offshore wind tower manufacturing facility in the United States.
