For the East River Ferry Landings project, sponsored by the New York City Economic Development Corporation in conjunction with the City of New York Department of Transportation and the City of New York Department of Parks and Recreation, Hudson Meridian Construction Group provided Construction Management services from pre-construction through project close-out.

The initial $25 million contract involved the construction and/or upgrade of five ferry landing sites along the East River, including the Battery Maritime Building (BMB), East 34th Street, East 62nd Street, East 75th Street, and East 90th Street. The project included the rehabilitation of existing docking facilities and existing pier structures, construction of a ticketing building, and the construction and/or renovation of five new floating platforms.

Each site included signature features such as architectural waiting canopies, electronic feature walls and wind turbine power generation. In addition to these elements, two piers were rehabilitated and expanded, and a 3,000+ sq. ft. transportation hub building is planned at the East 34th Street site.

Hudson Meridian was subsequently awarded an on-call contract for work along the Brooklyn Waterfront valued at $100 million.
